Get Involved – Volunteers Needed!

We are actively seeking volunteers for both elementary and secondary tutoring programs.

Opportunities include:

• Tutors (no teaching experience needed — training is provided)
• Front Door Ambassadors
• Kitchen Helpers and Coordinators

Elementary Tutoring sessions are offered Wednesdays and Thursdays with 2 evening time slots:

• 4:30 – 5:30pm
• 6:00 – 7:00pm

Jr High/High School Tutoring sessions are offered Wednesdays with 2 evening time slots:

• 3:30 – 4:30pm
• 5:00 – 6:00pm

Does Student Need School Tutoring

Our School Tutoring Ministry serves students from Kindergarten through 3rd Grade in partnership with 8 local elementary schools:

• Meeker
• Maplewood
• Fruitland
• Stewart
• Shaw
• Spinning
• Waller
• Karshner

Elementary students are referred to the program by school counselors, teachers, or principals.

Tutoring sessions are offered Wednesdays and Thursdays with 2 evening time slots:

• 4:30 – 5:30pm
• 6:00 – 7:00pm 

A free meal is provided between sessions for students and their families.

Parents are asked to remain on campus during tutoring and are encouraged to attend our Parent Engagement Sessions, which are held:

• Wednesdays during the 4:30pm session
• Thursdays during the 6:00pm session

Junior High & High School Tutoring (Math Only)

We also provide math tutoring for Junior High and High School students on Wednesdays:

• 3:30 – 4:30pm
• 5:00 – 6:00pm

 A hearty snack is provided for these students.
