Sermon Series Overview

Let’s face it. We are running on empty. Emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually. Empty. We’re tired. Tired of anger. Tired of taking sides. Tired of anxiety and uncertainty. Tired of waiting for our prayers to be answered. We’re weary. 

Advent is an invitation for a weary people and world to rejoice because each of us are invited into a new world that we can only sometimes see through our tears. 

Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus - You are the only way us weary people can rejoice. Holy Spirit, come breathe new life in us this Advent.

What is Advent?

Advent is the season in the Christian Church of waiting and preparation for the celebration of Jesus's birth at Christmas. It is also a time when we remember that Jesus is coming again.  Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before Christmas... this year, November 30.
